"Kildalton's cross"
36" x 17"
Cherry
Its too bad that pictures cannot quite grasp the full beauty of work, or
of many things for that matter. This is a downscaled version of
the original which is in the western islands of the coast of
Scotland. It was a great undertaking to make a drawing of it with
all the erosion on the original. The figure in the left arm is
Cane murder of Able, and in the right, Abraham's attempted sacrifice of Isaac.
In the top are two angel's, and David fighting the lion, a ram above the
lion and two birds eating berries on the bottom. The bottom has
the Virgin and the child with two angels making an arch over her head
with their wings. All vary interesting.
